HELLO THERE!
Welcome! I created this website to provide and share with you some information of what I have learned about the experience of traveling to some of the countries that I have never been to before. I also want to share my thoughts about the places where I have lived and revisited again after 20 years. Some of these places have had a lot of impact on my perspective in life, especially Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hawaii, and San Francisco. I'm not well versed in words, but I love taking pictures of people, places, food, and animals. By creating this website, I can share with you some of the pictures that I have taken and stored on my phones, iPads, and computers over the years. I hope that someday I will inspire you to take an uncomfortable journey to visit some of these places. My journey started in Southeast Asia because my mother, who had lived in Hawaii for over 50 years, decided to retire and live the rest of her life at her birthplace in Thailand. I spend at least 5 months each year visiting my mother and therefore venture out to neighboring countries because they're pretty close and inexpensive to travel to on short flights. In the past, I always wondered how the rest of the world lives, and what I've seen and experienced. I appreciate more of what I have and appreciate life in general. In a few years, I hope to spend a few months in Europe, the Middle East, and South America. And my goal is to visit the entire 50 states in the US. I have lived in a few of them, and I love them all because I learned how to adapt and think positively. I moved from Hawaii, where the temperature is over eighty degrees year round, to a much colder place in California, New Mexico and Virginia. In most places on the mainland, we have only a few months of warm weather, then cold and snow, but living on the mainland gave me the opportunity to travel and learn so much more about geography, people, resources, and culture. Working on a website is tedious and time-consuming. I will publish what I have created, and I will add more countries and places along the way. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for visiting, and I hope to encourage you take your next adventure, and good luck with your travels.
